Almost two thousand years ago Philip was called by the Holy Spirit to “kollao” with an African (Acts 8). “Kollao” is the Greek word whose root is “glue.” In a very real way, God called Philip “to stick like glue” – in other words to “journey with” or “to share life with.” In so doing, Philip was able to teach the Bible, share the Gospel, and lead the African into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our family – Zach, Lyndy, and Isaac Szmara – has been called to do the same with the people in Mozambique – to “kollao” with them. If you’re visiting this site, you probably know us or you want to know more about Mozambique, Africa. So you too are “kollao-ing” – you’re sticking to us as we, together, join with God and His amazing mission of redemption, renewal, and harvest in Mozambique.
