Almost two thousand years ago Philip was called by the Holy Spirit to “kollao” with an African (Acts 8). “Kollao” is the Greek word whose root is “glue.”  In a very real way, God called Philip “to stick like glue” – in other words to “journey with” or “to share life with.”  In so doing, Philip was able to teach the Bible, share the Gospel, and lead the African into a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our family – Zach, Lyndy, and Isaac Szmara – has been called to do the same with the people in Mozambique – to “kollao” with them.  If you’re visiting this site, you probably know us or you want to know more about Mozambique, Africa.  So you too are “kollao-ing” – you’re sticking to us as we, together, join with God and His amazing mission of redemption, renewal, and harvest in Mozambique.  May you praise God as you read our reflections of His activity around us, within our family, of everyday life in Mozambique, and also a once-a-day visual/picture (project365)!
