We’ve been told our unique last name—Szmara—reminds people of that wonderful campfire treat–s’mores. With this in mind, take the “s’more challenge” – When you see chocolate, marshmallows, or graham crackers allow them to be a reminder to pray for our family and what God is doing in northern Mozambique.

family—Pray for our strength, safety, and growth.
ministry—That God will work in us as we learn a new culture, new languages, and guide us as we develop a training model focused on raising up the first generation of pastoral leaders in an oral, integrative, reproducible way.
harvest—That the spiritual awakening that is occurring among the Makhuwa of northern Mozambique will continue as the Gospel is proclaimed in new places & new churches are planted.
makhuwan pastors—That the Holy Spirit will continue to guide, form, equip, and use each one for the ministry of shepherding their churches & holistically serving their villages.
