If you, your family, your small group/Sunday School class, or church would like to give to a special project, please let us know by emailing us through the contact page. Many ideas exist – from purchasing solar-powered audio MP3 Bibles ($30 each), investing in the life of a future pastor by providing a scholarship for a week-long intensive, providing funds for a metal roof to be placed on a new church (the church itself builds the structure but with a bush roof the structure only lasts 1/4 of the time that it would with a metal roof), or allowing the Gospel to go to new places and peoples through buying a bicycle (to name just a few possibilities).
The final and vital way to support what God is doing in northern Mozambique is by coming, learning, and serving alongside the Mozambican church. Teams are currently needed for – finishing the plumbing (bathrooms and septic) in the duplex our two area leaders (Abel and Alberto) live in, distributing solar-powered MP3 Bibles, showing the Jesus Film, truly experiencing Africa (through living in a village and actually experiencing with all your senses what it is like to haul water, work in the gardens, make a meal over a fire, bathe with a bucket, etc), ministering through teaching (vocational skills), song, and/or drama. If your group has a specific gift-set/skill, please let us know and we can see if it can help meet a need in a specific community/church/area.
